Weekly Report
Now that the war in Gaza has ended, at least temporarily, the entity known as “Arab Jerusalem” faces a major choice: on the one hand, it can continue to try to strengthen its Israeli identity, alongside the unique Jerusalem identity of the city’s Arabs; alternatively, it can cave to the authority of the Palestinian Authority or Hamas, supported by Qatari and Turkish backwinds, and detach itself from its Israeli connections—an option many Arabs fear would lead to deterioration and stagnation similar to that affecting their brethren in Judea and Samaria and the areas around Jerusalem. The following diagram illustrates these two possible paths, with green representing growth and progress, and red indicating violence and reversal. These are not Israeli evaluations, but rather issues of debate and discussion that are very much on the table within the Arab public itself.

Strengthening Jerusalem’s international standing through proactive diplomacy while countering the influence of hostile international agitators. Advancing strategic partnerships and advocacy to reinforce Jerusalem’s role as Israel’s united and sovereign capital.
